La Bastide Rose is not a hotel but a home for friends where everyone feels free to do as one pleases, either mingle with the otPerfectly situated, at the entrance to the Luberon, 20 minutes from Avignon and the TGV (fast train from Paris) and close to l’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, this old manor house greets its guests amidst the sweet aromas of Provence. There are 5 rooms, 2 suites and a cottage.
Nestled in a small corner of the Sorgue river, surrounded by the fields of the beloved Provence countryside, the house is next to a canal which flows under the old buildings and passes through to the other side. Behind an old mill turned into a Pierre Salinger Museum is the swimming pool where one can relax in the sun or under the shade of the garden in quietude. Between the canal and the river is an island made for dreaming, planted with fruit trees, and at the end of this little paradise is a dam which is a delight for fly fishermen (river trouts!).
