THE WATER (KINDLY READ THIS CAREFULLY)
As Gili Trawangan has little fresh water, the management of Hotel Vila Ombak decided it would be inappropriate to access the community's limited fresh water resources to allow guests to shower. That is why the water for showers in the bathrooms is saline (salty). The fresh water contained in the traditional earth-ware jar in the bathroom will allow our guests to lather up any soap or shampoo and to rinse any saline leavings after showering. Hot water is available in all rooms.
