Hotel alma is a small pleasant hotel right in the middle of Kristiinankaupunki, next to the sea. The hotel was opened in July 2004 after the building was completely renowated.

The first guests at Hotel Alma were the president Tarja Halonen and her company.

In the romantic old wood building there are ten double rooms, each named after one of the sail ships built in the city. Two of the rooms are family rooms with, for example, saunas. There are also two more saunas available for the guests at the hotel.

The two rooms that face the sea on the second floor have got balconies and the other room even has a bubble bath.The suite in the tower is small-scale luxury on two floors - both of which have French windows. The bed is like straight out of the Versailles and it's always made with satin sheets when a newlywed couple chooses the suite for their wedding night!

All of the rooms have got a roomy shower room, a 2Mbs broadband Internet connection, television and a mini-bar.



The reception of the Hotel is located aproximately 100 meters away from the Hotel itself, at Café Alma. Breakfast is also served at the café. There is a unique model of the sail ship Alma inside the café, which is 1/8 of the original in size.

Hotel Alma and it's staff welcomes You to Kristiinankaupunki at the west coast. The history of the city goes all the way back to 1649.
